Pohang, a developing city located in the eastern coast of Korea, is best known for its steel production. It is an industrial city where construction is constantly taking place. There are many restaurants and big fish markets. A great attraction for young tourists would definitely be a street called Yuk-guri. It is an open alleyway with lots of shops and stores. If you are into the drinking scene, there are a few bars in the area as well.

This street can get packed on the weekends with both high school and university students as well. There is a move theater for movie lovers, Starbucks for those who want to enjoy a hot cup of coffee, an arcade, hair salons, and more. It is a great place to hang out with friends and also familiarize with the Korean culture. If you ever get to Pohang, it is a must-see!

Mt. Naeyeonsan is at the south of the Taebaek Mountains facing the East Sea . Since it is not a steep mountain even children can easily climb the mountain. While enjoying the charm of Bogyeongsa Temple which has a long history, and the beautiful waterfalls and the thick forest you will find yourself at the summit of the mountain.
